Students learn more when they work things out for themselves, so I take an active approach to learning. This section describes some of the training areas I’m involved in, from off-the-shelf IOSH courses to tailored support for screen-based, virtual and VR training.
You can’t be risk free, but I help businesses to make sensible decisions about how to make “the safer choice” about managing risk as part of running a business. Previous clients appreciate my ability to identify inconsistencies in current systems, and to write clearer (shorter!) processes.
I’ve written articles for health and safety publications since 1996, first for Health and Safety at Work Magazine, and later for IOSH Magazine. I’ve also presented on a range of topics at professional conferences. This section links to articles, presentations and webinars you might find useful.
Why do people produce such poor risk assessments? I’m writing a book about risk assessment, drawing together everything I’ve learn in consultancy, training and in researching articles.
I’d love your help. Read my book, chapter by chapter, and your feedback could appear in my book.
